A cracked screen does not have to mean a week without a phone. At Shop 87 Gibson Avenue, Mobile Repair Factory fixes most phones and tablets while the customer waits, often in about 30 minutes.

Repairs Done on the Spot

Walk in with a broken screen, a flat battery or a charging port that only works at one angle, and the job is usually finished the same visit. Mobile Repair Factory quotes before any work starts, so there are no surprises at the counter. A quick call to (02) 8739 2050 confirms the part is in stock for a specific model before making the trip.

Moby and the Shop at 87 Gibson Avenue

Mobile Repair Factory has been repairing phones from Gibson Avenue for more than 15 years. Moby runs the shop, and many of the Google reviews mention him by name. It is an independent repairer, not tied to any brand, and serves Padstow along with Revesby, Panania, Padstow Heights, Bankstown and the surrounding suburbs.

What Customers Say

Mobile Repair Factory holds a 4.8 star rating from more than 150 Google reviews, and the same themes come up again and again: fixed on the spot, a fair price, and jobs other shops could not do.

One customer brought in a phone with salt water damage after a day at the beach and had it working the same day. Another had been told elsewhere that their data could not be recovered, and left with everything saved. A third came in after a poor repair from a different shop and walked out with a better fix at a lower price. As one review puts it, “This man is a magician.”

A regular of several years says they have never been let down. The most recent review, posted this week, was for a virus removed from a Samsung S25 Ultra, on the spot.

Did You Know

• Mobile Repair Factory has been on Gibson Avenue long enough to have repaired every iPhone from the 4 to the 17.
• Data recovery is a specialty. Several reviews describe phones declared dead elsewhere that came back with their photos intact.
• The shop also sells pre-owned phones, so a replacement is possible on the spot if a device is beyond repair.
